OKC RD6 and RD9
Purchased RD6 and RD9. Always admired OKC products before buying. Owned OKC 12" and 18" machetes, but no OKC knives. Super impressed with both knives purchased, as with machetes already owned. Really did not buy either knife for any intended purpose, but love them both. Was a little intimidated about the RD9, but find it more useful in the back yard with landscape work and wood work for the fire pit. My only complaint is that the handles are a big big, but I have gotten use to them. May still sand them down a bit. I do wish OKC would sell replacement scales. Overall, very nice knives and great value. I have no buyer remorse what so ever and would highly recommend these as well as other OKC products. Oh, one other comment, I've read about complaints about the sheath. Both the RD6 and RD9 had similar sheaths (plastic liners and dual snap closures). Funny thing, the RD6 held the knife firmly and securely with no wiggle. The RD9 sheath was loose and did wiggle; however, for what I use each for, both sheaths work perfectly. It's an oddity about the sheaths though.
