Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Zytel Handles
Zytel Handles
A nylon polymer that is lightweight and extremely durable, Zytel can be shaped and textured to provide excellent grip.

Best Knife for Under $100 on the Market! And SMOKES most over 100 too!
Well, well well wellie wellie well! This is the one of the BEST knives on the market folks!! I will swear by this bad boy as the greatest piece of steel you will find for under $100. Sometimes as low as $30 ive seen. I paid $75. $75 for something that i would whole-heartedly trust my life on!!! Ive literally tried too take it to its breaking point several times to see what its real potential is, and the only thing ive discovered is what MY potential is! Its left me an exhausted, out of breathe, and very impressed individual over and over again!!! It doesnt stop! And with a little love and care- Wont stop!!!! ---'insert joke here' Anyway...... ive got a large and good quality collection of knives and axes of all shapes and sizes, some noteably better quality than others, but out of everything ive got (some of them costing many many times what this one does!) I keep ending up with this Ontario Raider Bowie on my belt!!! And for good reason. Its the on the top of Top shelf! and a knife of better quality is gonna cost you at least three times as much. Honestly folks 10 outta 10. For any weapons historians out there have you ever noticed the Bowie is identicle too some forms of Seax that have been found? Co-incidence or do you think Resin Bowie (he designed it, not his famous brother like everyone thinks!) Just looked through a book and said "Hey that'd work Great!!!" Whatever happened he got famous for re-designing a weapon that was famous, and extremely popular and very widely used, a thousand years ago?? And now the fine folks at Ontario Knife co. Have taken the design and made another beauty! Good work! Best knife out there!

Solid piece of equipment
This thing is a beast. Very solid construction. I like the the finish on the grip. It feels like a tank. I cannot get over how dense and solid this thing feels in your hand. Imagine a full size machete shrunk down to this thing. That is how I can best describe it. I hacked a few shrubs with it, just for fun. It felt great.
