1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.

Great knife for price
Overall good knife for less than $50. Well balanced, durable with a comfortable handle. Not as sharp out of the box as expected, however sharp enough to cause injury if not careful. The sheath is a bit tight - which could be good or bad. Made in the USA!
