Pros: Blade Material, Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Weight, Handle Material, Lock Type
Cons: None
Tactile and Unique
Opinels come in all sizes and the girths change along with the lengths. The #8 is a general purpose, medium duty, adult size knife. Bear in mind this isn't a multi hundred dollar folding pry bar and you have to know how to use it and know it's quirks. That said it has more than enough going for it. There's no reason not to have 1/2 dozen of these in different sizes and configurations floating around. Spend the extra $ and get the choice wood handles too.

Cons: Ease of Opening
Great knife, needs oil
Great knife, very easy to keep sharp. However it must stay dry or will be hard to open and close until fully dry. A drop of oil seems to help.

I bought the knife for a present. I have one and I knew that my son would like it also.
