Like the fellow just below, I must say that this has been one of my favorite utility knives over the last five years. It keeps a great edge for normal use (no aluminum plate, please). Especially when I use it for boxes, it literally goes for days of cutting cardboard before it needs just a few light strokes on my ceramic rod to bring it back to shaving. That little hook at the tip is the perfect tool for performing so many different infuriating jobs around the shop. It is especially useful for making arrows: stripping branches for arrows, processing feathers for fletchings, for a nocking tool, and as a makeshift v-gouge. Great knife. Cheap and tough, long lasting. Get three.I love Knife Center. They're like family after all these years. You spend enough time here, you'll find out real quick that YOU are their only priority. I don't buy from anyone else.
