Description
QAQSE6TT: QSE-6TT Mr. Roper Tanto
QTRM5TR Knives

Jared West of Quartermaster names his knives after characters on popular TV series from his youth. Since this series only has three models, they got named after Mr. Roper (now with a Tanto blade shape), Mr. Roper and Mr. Furley. The buzz surrounding these three models was huge, so don't wait if you want one!

Modeled after Warren's timeless 2.5 design, this titanium frame lock folder is Quartermaster's "King of EDC." The Roper Tanto is their lightest, most pocket friendly design to date and it's a pleasure to hold and to carry. The blade is a functional shape and the slim Titanium handle very comfortable in the hand. Their hope with this new take on a classic design is to shed light on QTRMSTR's legitimacy as a producer of fine cutlery for all applications, not just "hard-use."

Pros: Handle Material, Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Weight, Ease of Opening, Lock Type
Cons: None
Decent Knife Bad Specs
Just got the knife, started feeling it out right away. Good handle feel , very comfortable in forward / reverse / pick positions. Smooth opening , solid lock up , no play open or closed. Overall.. a great solid feeling from this knife. Blade could be sharper right out of the box (but that's the case with all knives, isn't it ?). Of note - Because of the extremely lightweight handles the knife has a deceptively heavy nose feeling from the steel blade. Gives it a nice cutting feel, as if it has more blade than it does. Now the bad - there is NO WAY AT ALL that this is a 0.187in. thick blade. not chance. I compared it to all of my Emersons', Kershaws', & Zero Tolerances'.. (some of the models claim to have 0.125in thick blades) co-incidentley they all seem to match. But the "Tanto Roper" is barely as thick as these knives !?!?
