ESEE Knives

ESEE-3MIL-P-CP knives include the following: OD Molded sheath, MOLLE Back, Clip Plate, Paracord Lanyard and Cord Lock.

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of our knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. Our knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored our 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to our knives, we also offer survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.

These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

ESEE-3s are shipped with a sheath instruction sheet (below) and Survival Business Card.

An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath

Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: Blade Sharpness, None
Great knife for the money.
I bought the knife for hunting and camping. The selling point for me was the handle, it is has a great feel in my hand. The sheath is also great and has a positive grip on the knife. The knife was sharpened with a grinder or something. It wasn't as sharp as I would like but it sharpened up with my Lansky sharpener. I used a 20 degree angle and it worked great for this knife.

I've Used this knife day in and day out since getting it. Awesome warranty and I'm yet to see something beat it's usefulness. Also This isn't the same knife as the Ontario made RAT knives.
