Zancudo is Spanish for Mosquito but besides its compacts size, we cannot think of another similarity between this knife and the buzzing pest. The Zancudo was designed by the survival experts over at ESEE Knives, Mike Perrin and Jeff Randal, and was produced by Blue Ridge Knives. It's an amazingly slim, well built folder that you won't have a problem carrying and using every day. The framelock mechanism and FRN handle, with the solid, full length steel liners, provide serious strength to this small folder. The pocket clip is reversible but only set up for right hand carry and the knife weighs in at exactly three ounces. It's a folder we're very excited about here at the KnifeCenter because it gets almost everything right in a folding knife at a price point you're sure to be pleased with.

Cons: Pocket Clip, Handle Feel
Solid everyday folder
After testing this knife for a few weeks I've come to very much enjoy it. On the plus side it has a solid lockup, smooth deployment, and feels very durable. The only complaints I have is the black coating is a bit cheap and that it is not an ESEE knife (ESEE design but not manufacturer). I would still highly recommend this knife to anyone who wants a solid simple edc knife for a great price.

Zancudo great little EDC
I gave this little knife a 5/5 because it met all my expectations of a value folder. Lightweight, good looking, very sharp out of the box and a full flat ground blade which are my favorite. Did I mention very sharp? After using it for a few weeks now everyday it cuts through thick cardboard without resistance as if it were butter. It looks amazing with the satin blade contrasting those camo scales. As I take it out anyone and everyone who is around wants to look at it and hold it. It's a clear winner in my book and I love it. GETS SOME!

Very sharp out of the box. Great little EDC blade. No wiggling after 1 month of medium tasks. Nice quality finish. For a under 50$ blade and good attention to detail in production it's a winner of a buy.
