Zancudo is Spanish for Mosquito but besides its compacts size, we cannot think of another similarity between this knife and the buzzing pest. The Zancudo was designed by the survival experts over at ESEE Knives, Mike Perrin and Jeff Randal, and was produced by Blue Ridge Knives. It's an amazingly slim, well built folder that you won't have a problem carrying and using every day. The framelock mechanism and FRN handle, with the solid, full length steel liners, provide serious strength to this small folder. The pocket clip is reversible but only set up for right hand carry and the knife weighs in at exactly three ounces. It's a folder we're very excited about here at the KnifeCenter because it gets almost everything right in a folding knife at a price point you're sure to be pleased with.

Pros: Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Ease of Opening, None
Cons: Blade Material, Sheath
The knife is very sharp, and feels good I. The hand. I am very disappointed with the fact that the blade was made in Tiwan. If I buy something stating its an American made knife, I feel the blade should be made in the USA also. And it didn't state on the description where the blade was produced.

Zancudo review
A great small folding survival knife. I use it as ready to use knife on ship and though small it seems to handle cutting lines well...in terms of bush craft, its great for splitting small kindling and shaving bark. Not designed to be a standalone knife but is a good secondary. A little smaller than anticipated but a great knife nontheless

Great pocket knife, but I would refrain from using thus for heavy duty bush craft.
