Description
RCJUNGLAS: ESEE Junglas (pronounced "Hoonglas")
ESEE Knives

The ESEE Junglas machete features a 10.38" textured black powder coated 1095 high carbon steel full tang blade. Removable canvas micarta handles with hammer pommel and lanyard hole. Black molded Kydex sheath with Cordura backing adjustable retainer, pommel cover and lashing holes. Cordura backing has MOLLE compatible strapping. While 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not proper cared for--especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath

Beautiful Big Blade
I can't be happier than I already am with this knife, and KnifeCenter's service. This knife is just about indestructible for its size and I really don't see me having to put it's warranty to the test. It came hair shaving sharp and after chopping some hard logs it will still shave and slice paper. The only thing I might be off about though is the micarta handle, its the first time having a knife with micarta and while it may have a good grip it is definatley not kraton. Other than that this knife is amazing and well worth its cost!

Life saver and great quality
After doing much research, I knew this was the blade for me. I was out in the country side and got my jeep stuck in the mud. I had my Junglas with me, and was able to chop down little trees and big tree limbs to place underneath my tires. I chopped and cut through those limbs and trees like it was paper. Very useful and got me out of a jam. I was able to 4X4 my way out with all that wood underneath my tires and saved lots of money cuz I didn't need a truck to pull me out. Great overall survival knife.

Brutus Beefcake of a knife
So after messing with several other large fix blade knives such as the Becker Bk9 and the Rtak 2 and the Sp51 I found this is the best buy for the money. The fact that it comes with kydex sheath and micarta handles unlike the becker this knife is a good bang for the buck. Though it's on the heavy side which is it's intent it still isn't so heavy that it couldn't be used for defensive use. Also this is a bushcraft beast, can fell small trees and baton like a mofo. Money well spent
