ESEE Knives
All ESEE knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

Cons: None
Brutus Beefcake of a knife
So after messing with several other large fix blade knives such as the Becker Bk9 and the Rtak 2 and the Sp51 I found this is the best buy for the money. The fact that it comes with kydex sheath and micarta handles unlike the becker this knife is a good bang for the buck. Though it's on the heavy side which is it's intent it still isn't so heavy that it couldn't be used for defensive use. Also this is a bushcraft beast, can fell small trees and baton like a mofo. Money well spent

a very useful big knife without frills
The Jungas is a relatively heavy machete, but not too heavy, just right. It is impressively big, well balanced and of course, it is simple yet beautiful, a real ESSE. I love it.

Exceptional qualityand value
Extremely pleased with the quality + fit & finish of this knife. For this price I can hardly imagine a better deal: premium quality outdoor XXL-size knife with excellent sheath and strong heritage behind the brand. My first ESEE, beats my Striders hands down;) Keep up the great work... And the KnifeCenter service is also great...
