SCAR Blades
SCAR Blades Invader Black. 9 1/2" overall. 4 3/8" black finish blade. Full tang. Black handle. Black sheath. Weight: 9.2 oz.
SCAR Blades are custom hand built knives produced in the U.S.A. They are designed to be used as rugged tools to assist military, law enforcement, and avid outdoorsmen to survive in the field, even in the most harsh conditions. Most SCAR Blades knives are full tang and are made from 3/16" thick 1095 high carbon alloy, which is heat treated for hardness only along the sharpened edge - creating a RC hardness of 58, while leaving the spine of the blade softer to absorb the stresses of high impact chopping. Blades have a powder coated finish and come with a non-slip phenolic handle to ensure a sure grip. Sheaths are individually made using Kydex, which is tightly formed around each individual knife for a secure fit. The sheaths are equipped with either a rotating belt loop allowing the sheath to swivel 360 degrees, moving with the user or a stationary loop for added strength and security. Multi-attachment holes are located around the sheath, to allow the knife to be adjusted and placed anywhere the user requires.
