One armed man's opinion
I lost the use of my right arm and under the 1958 switchblade law I can own automatic knives with a 3 inch or under blade length.I have carried this model for about 6 months and observed the following. The blade was extremely sharp right out of the box. I have opened boxes, plastic and paper packages, letters, cut up cardboard, and cut up some old shirts for rags and the blade is still very sharp. Frame is solid and strongly constructed. The blade has only miniscule movement when in the open position. You must press the opening button firmly to deploy blade. I personally have had no problems with the blade accidentaly deploying in my pocket.I always carry with the button facing my leg. I do wish the knife had a liner but of course this would have raised the price. This is a very good automatic knife at an economical price!
