Pros: Materials, Finish, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: None
Nearly perfect in it's class
What I wanted: A smaller hard-use knife that could handle bushcraft and survival chores, G10 handles, serviceable blade material w/o serrations, value and comes with a sheath. What I got: All of the above. Especially pleased with the value. In use: The knife's scales have sharp edges. I spent a good bit of time putting a radius on them with a jewelers file. I also put a radius on the lanyard hole so that it wouldn't fray my lanyard. Rounding the scale edges has greatly improved the comfort of the knife in-hand—especially on the finger choil. I also had to file down sharp edges on the tops of the screws that hold on the scales. The metal was raised around the torx holes, probably from over-tweaking. The blade was what I would consider dull out of the box. A half-hour of sharpening it up and it is very sharp and has been holding a decent edge. I found that the tip of the knife needed considerable attention. Sharpened at a 25 deg. angle. Overall I am very happy with the knife. It does all I ask of it. Holds up well to hard use, and is a size that I've found to be a great compromise between big enough to be usable, but not too big that I don't want to carry it. And it looks cool to boot!

Pros: Materials, Handle Material, Blade Material, Finish, Weight, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
The knife will be used for hunting and general camping needs. Overall quality of the fit and finish is outstanding for the price. Sharp out of the box, the G10 grips fit to the steel is great and is comfortable in my hand. The only concern is the overall thickness of the scabbard material; while the fit is tight, the scabbard and belt attachment appears to be overly flexible. Being pack mounted, this ultimately may not big a issue. The stonewashed finish looks great and should hold up well with hard use. Totally satisfied with the knife, a great value.
