Art & Function
Let me hurry to say once again the Service at the Knife Center has been top-notch. Sppeedy Processing and delivery.Bought this knife because of its aesthetic appearance, price point, reviews, the KC stamp of approval and my experience with this steel. With so much going for this knife I ran little risk of being disapppointed. Im not! In fact I'm a little surprised. The pictures do little justice to this bull solid peice of steel shaped with so many delightful surfaces and given a handle that is artistic as it is functional. The G10 handle offers manhy points of contact with the hands and while slightly abrasive will provide a most secure grip with or without gloves. Some may have some issues utilising this knife for extended periods without gloves. I got both blade styles of this knife and three of them altogether.IMO the tanto is a little more bullish, the spear point more handsome.I've removed the fabricated belt loop from two of my three for deep edc. Not a great solution as these knives are just small enough to be big and big enough to peek out. A tweener that chumps any folder however sturdy but the total length of a great defensive folder. Does pose an ackward carry problem. Belt loop might be perfect for LEO and would probably blend perfectly in with other belt equipment.Steel is formidable and has become my favourite over the years. Knife was sharp out of box but not incredibly so. This knife was given s significant hollowground by its designer and begs to be sharpened further up that hollowground to increase its shearing capabilities. I can see guys with the tools having a field day further customizing this bull of a knife.
