Description
SCHF24: F24 Tactical Clip Point Fixed Blade, Contoured G10
Schrade

This Schrade F24 tactical clip point fixed blade features a black stonewashed 3.4" 8Cr13MoV high carbon stainless steel full-tang blade and contoured G10 handle scales. The blade itself is a strong, thick design and it's also got a highly reinforced tip for stabbing cuts. It's got plenty of belly, making this a great blade for both hunting and tactical purposes. The thermoplastic sheath is a friction fit model that is very sturdy and secures the knife well but allows for a quick, easy draw from multiple angles on the belt. We here at knifecenter.com find this to be a extremely heavy-duty, well-made knife at a great price!

Pros: Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Nice knife
Used for camping, hiking and small duties in the woods. Nice knife with a decent steel, very handy. Very slim profile with enough weight to feel it in your hand and not in your belt. The blade has the perfect size to do every things needed, the steel is very easy to sharpen and cut easily due to the geometry of the blade (convex grind). The tip is very strong, the pommel can be used has crusher and (maybe?) as window breaker. the handle has a very good grip but can become awkward with bare hands after a while. The Kydex scabbard fit nicely but with a few rattling. Overall it's a very good knife independently the low price. Very well designed. Note in the margin, this stainless steel can be subject to rust due to the large amount of carbon. I've been surprised to see rust spots few days after uses in a damp wood without cleaning.

Surprised by first impression
Although I have not used it for anything other than opening boxes and an apple or two I am pleasantly surprised at the apparent quality of this knife. The edge is precisely even on my example though it was not shaving sharp. Easily remedied. The attention to detail on the G10 machining is impressive. The slab grooves match on each side. I like the screws as well. The hollow grind is quite shallow so hopefully it retains some strength. The blade did not bind up in my apple as bad as my mini grip does so that's a plus. Great buy for the price for sure. Here's hoping this is a new standard from Schrade.

Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
good budget blade
This is a good knife if you want a small fixed blade to keep in the truck or a pack, the handle is nice, the blade didn't come super sharp but with just a few mins I had it shaving sharp and it holds an edge well after cutting some rope and cardboard to test it.
