SCHF26: Extreme Survival F26 Fixed Blade
This Schrade Extreme Survival F26 fixed blade is almost the same knife as the F10 model but with a TPE rubber handle instead of Micarta. The knife features a thick 5.3" 8Cr13MoV high carbon stainless steel full-tang blade with a false upper swedge. The handle, being a thermoplastic elastic instead of Micarta, provides excellent purchase under any conditions and still features the adequate jimping in many parts of the knife. The Ballistic Nylon sheath has a pocket for storing small survival items or a sharpening stone. We here at find this to be a extremely heavy-duty, well-made knife at a great price!

Pros: Materials, Handle Material, Blade Material, Finish, Weight, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Great Knife
I use the knife for feather sticking and general camp use. I may possibly try and use it for hunting this year. I keep it in my car as well. Hair shaving sharp out of the box. Sheath is adequate but not great. The pouch should definitely be larger for any kind of serious utilization.

Perfect knife if you don't want something huge but can still baton tough wood, feather a stick and do fine cuts with. The steel is very good for the price. Hold an edge a little bit longer than a really good 1095 and is still as easy to sharpen as a 1095 blade is. Jumping was not a problem for me. I used this and a SCHF37 for a couple hours after I got them splitting wood. No gloves and no hot spots. Chops very good for its size.

Schrade F26
Great value nice knife takes abuse with no issues. Handle works well for me but is small anyone with large hands might not like this one. Very usable knife look forward to some of there newer models.
