Good product...
This baton is very well made and a good value. My brother has the 21" ASP which is a more expensive model and I'd say the quality is equal. I like the grip on my Schrade even better - it sticks to the hand well. It's tight when you first get it but as you extend it and break it in it gets easier and smother. The case is pretty useless for deploying as the handle is so sticky it will grab. I don't use the case as the bat fits well in BDU front pockets or cargo pockets fine. The case would be good for transport though - strapped to a rucksack etc. I'm planning on getting one more of these for one of my go bags.
