Schrade Water Rat
This product was purchased for use with PFDs on a sailboat and I think it will work great. The edge is sharp from the factory and the profile is slim for convenient wear on the vest.

Water Rat
To be honest I tagged this on to another purchase when I saw the price. So far I am pleased with it. The main use I will put it to is as an emergence blade when kite surfing. I think it will be ideal for this as it is small enough to be unoffensive to people especially with the blunt tip and also a good size to strap to my arm. My only reservation is the method of releasing the blade from the sheath, I have a Tusa dive knife which I love as the action of locking and releasing the blade is very obvious and positive. With the Water Rat it is a little vague and I wonder how it will fare when I have cold or gloved hands. It does however lock the blade in place very securely. At this price though I will forgive that small issue and say that the Schrade Extreme Water Rat is a good light weight tool for any water sport use.
