Pros: Brightness, Battery Life
Great (and expensive) little flashlight
This is an outstanding (if pretty pricey) little piece of gear -- rugged, lightweight, and bright. That's all I can judge right now. If it performs as advertised, battery life should be outstanding, but I've only got a dozen hours on my first set of batteries, so don't know if it will make the 11 hrs. (high setting) or 100 hrs. (low setting) that the manufacturer claims. But truthfully, if it makes half that, I would still be impressed. The low setting is not a halfhearted beam of candlelight; it is perfectly usable indoors or in close quarters. The high setting is much brighter than my 2 D-Cell Mag Flashlight with a new set of batteries. As for durability, I can't say yet. Check back in 10 years. But Surefire's lifetime warranty suggests that their hardware will last. Bottom line, if you've got the scratch and need a small flashlight that performs like a big one, you can't go wrong with a Surefire.
