Pros: Handle Material, Weight, Blade Sharpness, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Sheath/Scabbard, Materials, Finish
Very Poor Taiwanese "quality"
Pros:Thanks to the fine service I received from the folks over @ Knifecenter, I am, and for future purchases will be, a satisfied Knifecenter customer, but this knife ...Cons:I recently bought this Agency and I was shocked by the very poor and low standards of the fit and finish on this SOG Knife:The TiNi coating on the blade was greyish and uneven discoloured on the different parts of the knife and handle. The buttcap nut (a signature feature on these SOG models) was not TiNi coated, but was coated in black paint, that upon delivery already had started to flake...The grind lines on the blade are vague, woolly and very rounded, not "crisp". As if the blade was heavily buffed after production and before (re?)-applying the TiNi coating...The fitting between the spacers and the crossguard was more than 1/16" off.The rivets and snaps on the sheeth are made of cheap plastic!Even if this was a $25 El Cheapo reproduction, I would have strong objections to the poor workmanship and quality. But for a top-dollar SOG knife, this is way beyond acceptable. Made in Taiwan... It should have stayed in Taiwan!
