Description
SOGBLT50N: BLT50-N Blade Light - Folder
SOG

Not often are we able to bring you what we feel is so new, so functional, and so outside the box that it is a game changer! Enter: BladeLight. It’s patent pending technology employs 6 LEDs molded into the GRN handle on either side of the knife blade, providing shadowless light when cutting or flashlight capability (while sheathed or closed). Of course the knives can still be used without turning on the LEDs. Powered by standard alkaline batteries, state of the art push button switches/circuitry and an IPX-7 rating for water resistance to full immersion it’s easy to see the BladeLight is no amateur. When night is upon you, no longer will you be juggling a light in one hand and knife in the other. The clip point blade folds into a sleek molded GRN handle with liner lock. Twin AAA batteries provide 34-37 Lumens of bright white light.

Pros:
Cons:
I use this as an everyday carry, it's not too heavy, yet it is durable. The grip coating is nice if your hands are wet or cold, and the fact it does two jobs (knife/flashlight) means I can carry one less piece of equipment.

Pros: Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Great knife
Used it to breast out a duck after dark. The blade is extremely sharp and the light is bright and right where you need it. I bought 4 and gave 3 as Christmas gifts to my son and nephews, all said it was their best gift. I'm going to get a few more for my hunting buddies.

Pros: Overall Quality, Lock Type, Ease of Opening, Blade Material, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Sheath, Handle Feel, Pocket Clip
Cons: None
Anytime you can take a little weight off your belt it is a good thing. The light-knife combo is great, was up a ladder and realized I did not have my light with me. Then I remembered the SOG knife on my belt, plenty of light to complete the job, plus needed the knife to remove several rigging lines....purchased one for my neighbor, he will not go to work without the SOG. You need to see and handle the SOG Blade Light Folder, best I have ever had........H
