Description
SP158TIP: C158TIP Techno by Marcin Slysz PlainEdge
Spyderco
The Techno is a very high quality knife. The handle material is super strong and lightweight and the blade steel is extraordinary. It has an industrial look that sort of tells reveals the "working tool" nature of this knife. This pocketknife is right at home in any environment and at most jobs you bring to it.

More from Spyderco

Polish knifemaker Marcin Slysz gave his Techno folder a progressive European appearance. The Techno falls into Spyderco’s "Little Big Knives" category, meaning it features a smaller blade and handle, paired up with a hard-duty locking mechanism, exotic blade steel and vault-like construction found primarily on hard-use larger knives. Natural colored titanium handle is constructed with contrasting blue handle spacers.

Pros: Lock Type, Pocket Clip, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: Ease of Opening, None
Perfection, for me.
I use this as a daily tool: boxes, tape, food, plastic, etc. and it performs better than you can imagine while looking awesome and giving a level of fit and finish that is second to nothing in this price range. I love everything about it, and for me it really is the perfect knife. Doesn't slice paper very well, and isn't the best slicer in general due to it's thick blade, but it more than handles any task I encounter and feels incredible strong. Buy it. Shop around for prices though. It's a little on the heavy side for some people, and it is a little hard to open, but other than that I can't really find anything to complain about.

Stout & Solid
Is a 4.5mm-thick blade necessary in a short-bladed knife like the Techno? Absolutely not. Neither are a tank-like build and top-notch materials. But I love it, love it, love it.
