The Dyad revolutionized the concept of the traditional twin-blade pocketknife by adding the advantages of one-handed opening, convenient clip carry, reliable patented by-pass lock mechanisms, and both the cutting power of a serrated edge and the finesse of a plain edge. This pocket powerhouse is back in limited quantities as a Sprint run, featuring textured gray G-10 scales and an all-new four-position hourglass clip. Its VG-10 stainless steel blades include a SpyderEdge sheepfoot profile and a full-flat-ground plain edge clip-point, giving you the power and versatility to tackle virtually any cutting chore.

Pros: Lock Type, Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Great lock blade.
The blade is so sharp you have to be carefull opening it. I liked this model enough to order a replacement, the only reason I needed to replace the knife was because I accidenly knocked it off in a store. The first model was a carbon fiber model. The blades were still sharp after 15 years of use.

Pros: Blade Material, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness, Pocket Clip, None
Cons: Handle Feel
Not tactical which is good. Thin Sharp blade, pierces, slices. Serrated edge will cut anything nearly. Combine the two and do everything you regularly need a knife for. Sits a tad high in pocket but not a serious complaint. Handle not super comfortable with other blade hump there but bigger hands can straddle it. If carrying one knife it can do it all that a knife (not chisel) is intended.

Pros: Lock Type, Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: None
The checkered G10 handle gives a plethora of confidence for a sure grip. The VG-10 blades come razor sharp and make short work of any of your cutting needs. The pocket clip has plenty of tension to hold the knife where it's clipped. The locks like the handle instill an exhaustible amount of confidence. As usual, spyderco's opening mechanism (hole) per blade works flawlessly. I own a few spyderco's and this is my favorite to date. I think the best aspect of this knife is the fact that you get the best of both worlds (straight & serrated) in one package that you know will last a life time since top shelf parts were used. The only think I could possibly see as a complaint is how thick the handle is. I have small hands (like men's small gloves or women's size medium) and since I used some truly deductive thinking before purchase, I came to the conclusion that since there is a top, bottom, 2 blades and a center divider, this may be on the thick side. If you purchase it and it's "too thick" the first time you hold it, give it a week or 2. You get use to it quick.
