Pros: Finish, Sheath/Scabbard, None
Cons: Blade Material, Materials, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Broke Within a week.
I Purchased this blade because it was an inexpensive Kukri style knife. I figured i wanted to get used to its handleing characteristics. While doing some light pruning in the back yard this knife broke into three pieces while trying to chop through a 2" thick tree branch. Upon further inspection i found that the blade is cast, not forged and the steel used is quite poreous and low quality. This is the last S&W blade i will buy... I think S&W should stick to what they do well, and not put thier name on cheap chinese blades.

Not so Badass...
I sincerely apologise for that earlier review. Short version I was hacking salal vines in my back yard, tried to stick the blade in an old stump while i placed the cut vines in the yard waste bin, and the sucker broke in two... It broke right where blade is thinnist so i suspect this may be a common design flaw. I am extremely disappointed to say the least.
