Lockback
Lockback
The lockback system has been used for many decades. It can usually be found on the knife spine and it provides a strong lockup that will wear well.
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel
Utilizes a wide variety of alloys but all contain a minimum of 10.5% Chromium content. Stainless steels will not corrode, rust, or oxidize but are not completely stain-proof so the title is somewhat of a misnomer.
Pocket Clip
Pocket Clip
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Aluminum Handles
Aluminum Handles
A solid, lightweight material that can be molded, textured or anodized to provide better grip under extreme conditions.

Pros: Lock Type, Lock Ease of Use, None
Cons: Handle Material, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
EDC budget
I was attracted to the price and blade length. Where I live, legal length is 3" blade. The blade holds an edge fairly well but is slightly difficult to open. The action feels gritty and rough. But it does work well and I can open the blade one handed. The lockback feature is positive and secure. The model in the display was much more smooth and easy to manipulate. Overall, I feel it was a decent purchase but would spend another $20 and buy a better blade.

Pros: Pocket Clip, Blade Sharpness, Handle Feel, Weight, Handle Material, Lock Type
Cons: None
cheap and nice
Picked one on sale at a local store yesterday. For the price, you are getting a solid back lock knife with a low rider clip out of the box. The back lock uses a kind of integral spring. It's a good value for urban EDC where there is a local 3" blade length limit. It is build solid, but lacks a bit of refinement and ergonomics - just as expected from a Chinese made S&W folder. A handle is a bit too thin to provide enough grip when opening.
