Cons: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Materials
Knife is great... The knife, not the rest.
I purchased the camo version, as a tribute to battlefield 4, as it was a knife I had looked at in the past. The steel section of this knife is nice and grind lines are even. The patterned section is nice and the saw back has an attractive look with moderate functionality. It's a hefty full tang blade. The positives, I feel, end at that. The sheath is more or less a trash can filler. The plastic insert pulled out with the knife on the first draw. They did include a nice diamond hone though which I'll put in the new sheath. The grips are cheap and have zero comfort value. I'm a micarta guy but grips are easy enough to change out. It's a good blade it just needs work. If you want an inexpensive tanto go with the cold steel GI for the total package.

Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Unbelievable knife for the money
Solid as a rock, great grips and ergonomics, balance, really hard to overstate how well this design just works. Great as the go-to blade for camping/hiking, combat, survival, hunting, etc. - all the usual cutting tasks, plus a lot of medium/heavy-duty stuff I wouldn't do to my Trailmaster (even prying with the spine, and hammering with the base - it's really that stout). Edge has a good balance between sharpness and durability. Sheath is a little lightweight, could be heavier denier cordura, but it's functionally excellent, and has a full plastic liner, either PP or PV. You can carry this thing about five different ways, and I didn't even notice that it comes with a diamond whetstone until I unboxed. Whole lotta knife for your money...

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
This is close to being my favorite blade next to my Nepalese Ghurka Kukra blade given to me in the Annapurnas as a gift from an old Ghurka soldier while I was living in Nepal. The feel and weight of this are superior. The edge sharpens to a edge capable of doing some serious heavy work. We're talking about a full 8" blade with some major heft to it. This is no cheap pieceof steel. I'm amazed that it sells for so little. Very nice balance. The sheath comes with a sharpening stone that does the job nicely. I only wish that I was 9 feet tall so I could use it as an every day carrier.
