SWMP4LBS: M&P 2nd Generation
Smith & Wesson Knives

Maintaining the intimidating firearm styling and solid feel of the M&P (Military & Police) Series, this combat folder features a glass breaker tip and a tip-up pocketclip. The powerful and super fast M.A.G.I.C. assisted opening mechanism is activated by a pulling the lever (resembling a gunsight) or pushing up on the thumb stud, springing the blade open.

When you first open up this knife, the first words out of your mouth are going to be "It's M.A.G.I.C.". And that is what this truly is!

M.A.G.I.C. stands for Multipurpose, Assisted, Generational, Innovative Cutlery. M.A.G.I.C. refers to the dual patented, revolutionary assisted opening mechanism that is an integral part of this series of knives. You will find that the M.A.G.I.C. assisted opening mechanism is the easiest, single handed opening system you have ever used. Once you have used it, you will know that it's M.A.G.I.C.

Cons: Pocket Clip, None
My best knife to date
This really is a nice every day carry knife, the weight and size is just perfect for me. The blade is nice and sharp the serrated section is just a great addition. I love the spring assist deployment, its a nice looking knife and very functional. The only negative view on this knife is that the pocket clip over the time of owning it ( 1 month ) loses it's springiness (is that a word?). Anyway this knife is my best buy for an every day carry, It will open boxes, packages, even strip wires and cables, and people will often comment on the aesthetics when I use it. I love it and I'm keeping it.

Good handy tool
I bought this to add to my shooting bag. However I find myself using more as an everyday carry. The knife has a good weight and balance. It is easy to operate with a very good blade.

Excellent knife
I purchased this knife after a fellow officer told me how excellent it was and how happy he was with it. I must say its a fantastic knife, and the window punch has already came in very handy. My previous knife was a Gerber and I have to say the Smith and Wesson is far superior. It is so simple and quick to open and the blade is very sharp which made cutting a seat belt a breeze. I highly recommend for anyone in law enforcement, fire, or EMS.
