All in all a great knife
I carry and use this knife everyday and I use it to cut more or less anything. Out of my Kershaws, Gerbers, Schrades, and several other brands I have found this to be just as reliable if not more so and it holds a great edge. I also like the fact I can sharpen it to a point of shaving hair of my arm and keep that edge. I am now on my second knife of this exact model after sharpening the first one so much there was not much blade left lol, should say how much I use it right there, and I am VERY tough on these knives daily. My only complaint is the screws that hold the knife together, on the first knife the belt clip loosened up and the threads stripped out after constant retightening and now my second knife is missing screws in the handle from falling out. That said, with screws missing it is still as reliable as the day I bought it, and I only noticed the screws missing because I just happened to see them gone when sharpening it. I love it and have loved all my S&W knives that I've owned. The opener works awesome, even after using the knife as a hammer with screws missing. I removed the thumb stud on the blade and I have never thought about putting it back on...it hinders ability to get it in my sharpener setup. I paid a lot more than it's offered for here on both of the ones I've owned and am now looking at getting my third. My advice is to pull the screws and Loc-Tite them first off, I will on my next one. And I love the fact that it is an all metal knife, I even like the grip tape inlays that stay stuck in place under all conditions and years of use. You'll be hard pressed to find anything better, especially in this price range.
