Little big knife
I bought the original bead blasted finish mini pit bull in about 2000. It was my first neck knife and quickly proved the value of that method of carry. It quickly became the tool I reached for by far the most on backpacking, canoe trips, hunting and fishing. From fine carving chores to dressing game, food prep, and abuses such as opening cans when the can opener was left behind. The blade has held up well with only an edge roll after opening a can of Alphaghetti by driving the tip through the lid, then rocking it to cut the top off. Since then, I've picked up many production and custom small knives but I keep coming back to this one. The blade shape just works well at so many tasks, and the handle is reasonably comfortable while maintaining a very slim profile, which is always a trade-off. I rated 4/5 because of the blade steel. Not that it's bad but there are better options. This knife could do with an upgraded steel and become exceptional. I've had no issues with my sheath, the retention being enough I still need the thumb push to draw it.

Great knife
Very light easy to carry , fits in your back jeans pocket ( I made a custom sheaf for mine) and this is my favorite way to carry it),+ you have many other options ! , I wish timber line would offer their serrated version again , probably my only complaint, basically Its A great little knife.

Excellent for price
I love this knife, it takes a razor edge. Yes I have shaved with it, although not a comfortable task with this knife. Still this knife holds an edge a decent amount of time, touches up nicely, and is comfortable for almost all tasks. I use it for opening mail, cutting food, opening packages, whittling. I've even clipped out coupons with this knife. Cons are that the handle is very aggressive, almost painfully so when using on hard tasks. The handle scales are not rounded enough so the texture on them really bites into your hand when holding the knife tightly. Reverse grips also are kinda awkward with this knife. Still for this price the knife and sheath are very nice. I carry it every day all day, I'm wearing it right now.
