Pros: Finish, None
Cons: Blade Material, Usable, Materials
Great collector's display, awkward sword in hand.
I consider this the best looking of the LOTR swords. The reproduction is decently rendered. The script and inlays are attractively reproduced. It is a wonderful wall decoration. It is the only one of the movie swords to come factory sharpened (i am unsure this is a good thing) and the grinds are well done and even. Very attractive overall. As a "real sword" it is an awful design. The looks say to me that it is similar to a scimitar or a cutlass. Without a guard or counterweight this sword is extremely blade heavy. There might be a, minimalistic at best, guard and a forward hand hold?, which has a bit of a grind on it so isn't likely to actually be a hand hold. So, not a practical design as rendered. Still it is a nice display.
