"Black Ninja" has arrived
There were enough said about this particular United Cutlery Honshu series. However, I would like to point out some key features I value most in this push dagger. Pros: - sharp spear point (you don't really need to sharpen the blade, honestly speaking, push daggers are built for other reasons rather than cutting and slicing) - best handle comfort (sorry Cold Steel), despite the fact they use less exotic handle materials - better leather scabbard than other competitors, with belt clip - protection mechanism from "spontaneous knife draw" - black coating, which looks really nice - affordable price Cons: - AUS-6 has proven to be a little bit less strong/durable/resistant than AUS-8A, for instance, but I doubt you'll notice the difference Overall: I am very happy with this item, knife takes decent places among all push dagger competitors on the market with the exception of steel quality. If somebody will hesitate to buy after reading this, I can assure you - you may feel the difference only, when you hold Mercworx "Seraphym" from S30V steel in your hands. But you would not like to know it's price, really ;-)
