UC3028: Combat Commander Tanto
United Cutlery
No one makes a better under $20 fixed blade than United Cutlery, and this knife further proves that. Plus, it has AUS-8 steel, so it also will hold its own cutting, not just look pretty!
United Cutlery has updated the popular Combat Commander series with theCombat Commander Tanto. It's bigger and better than ever, featuring a razor-sharp stainless steel blade with a non-reflective anodized black coating, blood groove, and piercing tanto point. The injection-molded handle provides a secure, slip-resistant grip and a guard to protect your hand. The shoulder harness sheath allows you to carry this bad boy discreetly so you're ready to defend yourself at a moment's notice.

Pros: Finish, Overall Quality, Materials, Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Blade Material, None
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, Weight
A Bit Small for Average Hands
Anxiously awaiting this little gem & was a bit disappointed w/hand grip size. I would guess that this knife follows the idea of a "Texas Toothpick" (small grip, overtly large heavy blade) but in that genre it'll be passed on to my daughter for her collection as I cannot grip this handle well. Sheath/holster rig interesting idea though should have been executed in leather @ additional cost (optional maybe?). Pleased with overall look/finish/quality as it appears to bear the usual good quality of most United products I've received. Blade came wickedly sharp but suffers in the balance end-Happy with the piece though I won't be using it (but proud to pass it on)
