UC3032: Honshu Tactical Tanto
United Cutlery
Complete your Honshu collection with this powerful Honshu Full Tang Tactical Tanto from United Cutlery. The razor-sharp, high-carbon steel blade will slice through almost anything and holds an edge like no other. The full-tang blade extends the entire width of the sword from tip to handle base allowing for ultra powerful slashing and chopping. It's not only great for sword collectors, but also makes one heck of a secondary weapon for soldiers in combat.
  • Razor-sharp, full-tang carbon steel blade
  • Paracord wrapped handle & lanyard
  • Solid brass hand guard & accents
  • Coordinating scabbard
  • 14-1/2" blade
  • Measures 21" overall
  • Made in China

Pros: Materials, Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Finish
Sharp enough
Ordered this item as a companion piece to my wakizashi. I'll have to say the fit and finish is not as good as the waki but the edge was way sharp. With a little TLC, some 0000 steel wool, brasso and gun oil, I should be able to display this little tiger with it's bigger sibling and take pride in the pair. Considering the Honshu Katana to complete the series. These are some bad ass practical weapons. Great value in a whoop-a** (non-collector's) samurai sword!
