Hibben Triple Thrower set
Gil Hibben Designed THROWING KNIVES

These quality throwers are custom designed hy master knifemaker, Gil Hibben, who has been making and using throwing knives since 1965. The Hibben Thrower is based on Gil's own karate knife design which also doubles as a functional hunting knife. Each knife features one-piece, 420 J2 stainless steel construction, and is perfectly balanced to assure uniform rotation when thrown properly. Each comes complete with an American made leather sheath.

These knives were a little difficult getting used to but ranging my throws was my problem. The knives throw nicely.

Nice knives and an overall good feel. They were smaller than I thought they would be even though I knew the length. They came sharp enough to cut paper and the point was also very sharp. If you do not know how to throw very well, and they hit the target wrong, the tips WILL bend. They can be easily fixed but on a bad throw it will stick in sideways and bend the tip badly. (I am throwing at a peice of quarter inch plywood). If you are a beginner PLEASE go with the 8" knives. You will be much happier. Also the sheath is great. Made of good leather and even though you can not see in the picture the sheath does have three slots.
