Pros: Blade Material, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Finish
Quality problems...
I have bought several hibben knifes the last years and this one is a disappointment. the damascus blade is great, but the overall finish of the knife is not good. On the knife i have gotten the guard was loose, and in the files work on the handle it a lot of glue residues inside, most likely used to glue the Micarta handles. The transition between Guard, handel and pommel are not good, not smooth as it should be but rough and with gaps between the brass and micarta. I think a knife with this kind of price should be alot better when it comes to finish. Much better quality when they produced their knifes i Taiwan. it looks to me that they doesnt care for the quality anymore, just produce new hibben knifes, because knifenuts like me will keep on buy them.
