Totally Awesome!!
When I first learned of the Survivor knife by Gil Hibben for United Cutlery I thought, "Oh My God, another cheaply made Rambo knife!" But I kept seeing it and kept going by it on Ebay and other places. Finally I decided to just go ahead and buy it, just to be able to say jokingly that I got duped again! To my surprise, however, I learned that the knife is superb. First of all it was perfectly and professionally packaged. Then when I lifted it up for the very first time and felt its awesome balance and weight, and also saw that the serrations are perfectly detailed and cut, I was in total awe. But what really did it for me was when I went to put my own sharpened edge on the knife. Man, ther AUS 6 stainless steel is just wonderful. The knife holds a hair-shaving razor sharp edge, and I used and used and used the knife, cutting and chopping everthing. Then when I went to check and see how the edge held up, it was still as sharp as it was when i started cutting and chopping. This Survivor knife really rocks. I love it so much that I have also since bought two more just like it, and will put them up as untouched, unused keepsakes! Because the knife is sure to increase dramatically in value over time. I place this awesome knife as even better than the old discontinued Buck Buckmaster 184. I highly recommend this awesome knife. You just cannot go wrong with this one!
