UCGH5042: GH5042 Hibben Titanium Rainbow Triple Set Throwers
United Cutlery
Master knife maker and throwing knife legend Gil Hibben has updated his most popular throwing knife design, this time with an anodized titanium rainbow finish. Each razor-sharp thrower is one solid piece of thick stainless steel with a cord wrapped handle, and each throwing knife measures 8-1/2" overall. House the entire set in the nylon belt sheath.
  • One-piece solid stainless steel construction
  • Anodized titanium rainbow finish
  • Cord wrapped handles
  • Nylon belt sheath
  • 8-1/2" overall
  • Made in China

Utilizes a wide variety of alloys but all contain a minimum of 10.5% Chromium content. Stainless steels will not corrode, rust, or oxidize but are not completely stain-proof so the title is somewhat of a misnomer.

Pros: Finish, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Handle Material
I purchased a set of Hibben Rainbows about a year ago, and used them in shows over the summer. They were excellent throwers, and provided steady accuracy. They have enough weight to carry a good throw, and the blade provides good aerodynamics in the air, which, again, makes for dependability. The blades remain sharp, and they require lminimum maintenance.
