VERY nice thrower
I recently picked up one of these - just tried it out a few days ago. It was very easy to stick it in my hawk block, It has a nice shallow groove that encourages a consistent grip. I like it!

Great throwing axe!
So far the only problem I've had with this axe is that, when I throw it in the woods, it can be hard to see to retrieve. Otherwise, I love that damn thing. My wife gave it to me for my birthday, because she's the greatest wife ever, and though it's my first throwing axe, in three tries, I learned how to distance myself from my target and how to get it to stick properly. It looks amazing, it feels great in the hand, and it's sturdy and holding up nicely. Now I wish I had more than one.
