Super quality at a reasonable price
The Victorinox Forschner 8" Chef's Knife is a quality product that is relatively inexpensive. This item excels at all of the tasks involved in the preparation of meats and other foods. The knife is comfortable in the hand and the blade is somewhat heavier than other knives I own. I was able to achieve an excellent edge after a little sharpening with a fine grit stone. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a "top quality" chef's knife at a reasonable price.

Chef's Knife par Excellence
Cheap to buy, but super value for the money - handle fits the hand (not bulky) - great plain blade kitchen work horse - stays sharp - easy to sharpen when needed - my only complaint (very minor) is that the handle does not come in red like the paring knives. This knife is a real tool - I highly recommend it. I work out of state - this second one goes with us.
