Pros: Blade Material, Finish, Handle Material, Locking, Overall Quality, None
This knife was purchased for a Boy Scout, age 12, for use in scouting. The knife is well designed for the younger user, having a side button lock that is easy to manipulate but functions well to protect the user from accidental blade closing. I consider this a very important feature for an inexperienced knife user. The handle is comfortable and the blade is a good size for a variety of utility chores. I prefer the straight edge v the serrated because of its ability to re-sharpen easily. The knife scales on the traditional swiss army pocket knives have a tendency to fall off but this one seems more sturdy/durable. It would be nice if it had a belt sheath to go with it. Knives are dropped from young pockets very readily.
