Zero Tolerance Knives

Camouflage is Key

ZT is proud to offer the model 0301, designed by Ken Onion and Strider - a top-quality combat knife equipped with the patented SpeedSafeĀ® assisted opening system.

SpeedSafeĀ® enables users to deploy the blade one-handed - using their choice of an ambidextrous thumb stud or an equally ambidextrous index finger protrusion.

In addition to SpeedSafe, the 0301 features a tough S30V stainless-steel blade with ZT's unique "Tiger Stripe" Tungsten DLC coating. The S30V blade steel is designed to provide the perfect combination of durability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The Tungsten DLC tiger striping also provides a non-reflective camouflaged surface.

The 0301's Ranger Green scales are made of 3-D machined G-10 and titanium for incredible mechanical strength and a supersecure grip. The 0301 also features a 3/8 inch hex head pivot shaft nut that makes field adjustments fast and easy with minimal tools.

In addition, this dynamic folding knife comes with a reversible or removable clip for tip-up or tip-down carry - so it remains securely stowed until the user needs it.

Heavy Duty
It is a really well crafted and presented package. I like big and heavy knives. Something that just feels like a Tank. This is it!. I won't go into what you can read online yourself anyway. Just to say. I am delighted I have it. There was nothing wrong with it at all. It arrived in time and in one piece. Thanks Knife Center.

SHTF Knife
I'm currently applying for state law enforcement and have been looking for great EDC gear to carry with me on the job. After countless hours of product research, I've chosen two knife companies: Emerson Knives and Zero Tolerance. Here comes the superlative. Without a doubt, there's no other production knife that is built better or that is more durable for hard use than the ZT 0301 (or any 0300 model). To make an argument to the contrary would be an uphill battle. It makes no sense to me that Striders and Hinderers cost as much as they do when Zero Tolerance makes very similar knives with the same materials at half the cost. Don't get me wrong, this is still an expensive knife. No arguing against that. However, I'd take a ZT 0301 over an SMF/SMG or XM18/XM24 nearly every time and trust that I picked the better knife. Some of you will hate that I said that, but to each his own. I believe this knife will outlive you. It's something you can put through its paces yet still pass it on to your kids or grand kids years later. This is truly an overbuilt piece of American engineering and craftsmanship. You will not be disappointed. I plan on getting the all-black and black wash versions of this model. I love it that much. These blades will share pocket space with my Emersons for the rest of my life. I will carry them with confidence. The pocket clip sucks. It rides too low on the handle and leaves half-of-an-inch of the handle hanging out of your pocket. My only gripe.

new EDC
I found this knife while surfing the net and decided I needed to own one. Some folks have commented about the size and weight of this knife but I carry enough in my pockets that the weight is a non factor for me. Shaving sharp right out of the box with a very solid and strong lock up. I have found no slop in the pivot and after exercising the blade just a few minuted the assisted opening is very fast and smooth. I can't recommend this knife enough. As a matter of fact I bought another ZT and now I'm thinking about one in each hip pocket!
