ZT0801: ZT0801 Manual Titanium Folder by Todd Rexford
Zero Tolerance Knives

All steel and fast opening with a super strong locking system: this is a great knife. Zero Tolerance has produced this Rexford design with the best materials and all American craftsmanship. This is a great knife. The blade opens on ball bearings. The handle has great texture to secure it even when wet. The pocket clip is for deep pocket carry and can be reversed for left handed users. The KnifeCenter is a fan of this product and we encourage you, if you want a knife like this, to pick one up as soon as possible. This is a classic!

More from Zero Tolerance:

Zero Tolerance and custom knifemaker Todd Rexford join forces to produce the Zero Tolerance 0801. It starts with a blade of ELMAX powdered steel. ELMAX enables ZT to produce a blade with a razor edge, excellent edge retention, strength, and toughness. A stonewashed blade finish hides hard-use scratches and makes maintenance easier.

The 0801 handle is lightweight and durable titanium with machined grooves for a secure grip—and a great look. The titanium handle features a secure frame lock that, thanks to the titanium, is extremely strong. The blade deploys using the built-in flipper. Just pull back on the flipper and the razor-sharp ELMAX blade rotates out of the handle on ZT’s glass-smooth KVT ball-bearing system. No springs required; just simple, one-handed opening. Easy. The 0801 pocketclip is designed for deep carry and is reversible for left- or right-handed carry. Decorative pivot hardware completes the 0801's handsome look.

If you like the looks of all metal, all the time, the 0801 is the right choice.

Zero Tolerance Warranty: Buyer Beware !
Purchased Zt 0801 stonewash in July 2015. About ten days later I sent the knife to warranty because the blade would not center and the screws on the handle would not loosen. When I opened the box and looked at the knife, the blade was centered but there were scratches around the pivot bolt on both sides that were not there when I sent the knife in. After using the flipper a few times, the blade went back to one side again, metal to metal. I sent the knife back to warranty and asked that they replace the handles that they scratched and center the knife. They refused to replace the handles. I would not send a new knife to them, but one that is old, because if they damage it, they will not take care of it. I will be sticking with Benchmade, they do honor their warranty.

Zt Warranty
I bought the Zt 0801 stone wash and the blade would not center. It would lean on the side away from the clip. I sent it to Zt warranty and they centered it and sent it back to me. I opened the box and noticed scratches around the pivot bolt on both sides. I used the flipper for about an hour and the blade went back to the same side. I sent the knife back and asked that they replace the handles that they scratched, they refused. I bought the knife new about 10 days before sending it to them the first time. So if you have a new knife and send it to them for warranty, if they damage the knife, you are out of luck. A " 0 " warranty does me no good. I will stick with Benchmade. Buyer beware !

Looked good but . . .
Mine was defective and didn't flip without great effort, so I returned it for replacement.
